Where do you Most Commonly Ship to?

There is not much shipping from our branch. We tend to do more local moves.

What is your Most Interesting Move?

Recently we moved a couple from the Blairgowrie area to Herefordshire. Both of them worked for the NHS and so they made for the most fascinating people to talk to whilst we handled their long distance move. It’s always lovely chatting to new people and it makes your day pass quicker. They were very grateful and extremely friendly so it was a pleasure to move them.

What has been your Most Interesting Item to Store?

We recently received a beautiful four poster Georgian bed and drapes to put into storage. It was a very intricate piece and its size made it difficult to move but we got there in the end.

What has been your Most Challenging Move?

We moved a family from a nine-bed property which had an art studio in their basement. Their daughter is an artist so there was over one hundred and fifty pieces of art to be moved. Due to their delicate nature the porters had to be very careful when transporting them to the new property.

Tell me a Local Fact about the Area

In Perth we have Scone Palace which was the original home of the Stone of Destiny which was an integral part of tradition when crowning Scottish Kings. You can see the stone on display at Edinburgh Castle and a replica exists in the Palace.

What is the Best Thing about Working for Clockwork Removals?
