Our Team

Jamie Slaven is our Branch Manager, Sophie Burnett is our Branch Administrator and we have a team of about 10 crew who are out on moves across the Highlands and Islands.

Where do you Most Commonly Ship to?

We do a lot of moves from Inverness to the Highlands and Islands.

What is your Most Interesting Move?

We once conducted a removal from Inverness to Unst in Shetland which is the furthermost Scottish location we have ever delivered to. This meant we had to take several ferries to and from the island which took a few days to carry out.

What has been your Most Interesting Item to Store?

A 150 ton MRI scanner for an American company. They dismantled it on site and we needed specialist contractors with heavy lifting equipment to bring it into store. The American owners oversaw the packing and loading for the move out of storage which then got taken to a medical facility in Alaska.

What has been your Most Challenging Move?

We carried out a move for the Highlands & Islands Enterprise. Due to the complicated nature of the move the full process took weeks and involved several teams. We enjoy taking part in more challenging moves as it makes our days very interesting and it gives us the opportunity to all come together as a team.

Tell me a Local Fact about the Area

We are very close to famous sites such as Loch Ness and Culloden Moor which are major tourist attractions. Cawdor Castle is also nearby, made famous by Shakespeare in the play Macbeth. Here, you will also find the start and finish point for the famous North Coast 500, a stretch of road up the north coast with the most beautiful scenery.

What is the Best Thing about Working for Clockwork Removals?

“Driving through and working in this spectacular scenery every day,” Adam Stevens, Inverness Branch Manager.
