Inverness Case Study: Moving House in the Highlands

Inverness Case Study: Moving House in the Highlands

Moving Home from Inverness

Clockwork Removals Inverness branch based in the Scottish Highlands recently moved a customer who had a very unique way of travelling to her new home.

The customer was moving over 700 miles from the Black Isle to Cornwall and instead of making the long drive from one end of the UK to the other she sailed her boat!

Our crew carefully packed and wrapped all the customer’s fragile items plus all the kitchen contents and disassembled the large items of furniture. The entire home contents were then put into storage for a month before making their way down south via Edinburgh, for a quick collection of some more furniture, all while the customer was navigating the high seas.

Once in Cornwall the crew found the previous owner was delayed by a day so they had an overnight wait before moving the delighted customer into her new home the following day. All the furniture was reassembled at the beautiful beachfront property before our crew made the long journey back up north.

We can’t say we have many customers moving into their new home via boat but nothing surprises our experienced crew at Clockwork.
