Household Removals and Storage Insurance

Many removals companies only insure their ‘liability’ for damage to your goods which only covers the remover and not the customer.  In our dedication to customer care, we offer the option of taking out a Removals and Storage Policy, also known as ‘Goods In Transit & Storage Insurance’. This policy ensures your belongings are completely protected at all times during the moving process and is underwritten by a specialist insurer. The cover does not affect the claims record on your household insurance should a claim need to be made.

As a member of the British Association of Removers (BAR), we are also registered with The Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman (FHIO). The FHIO provides an impartial and independent dispute resolution service for any consumer complaints that we are unable to resolve directly. This offers you complete peace of mind. You can be confident that you are using a reputable, professional, and safe removal company, with protection against unfair practices and access to an independent body should the unlikely happen.

Overseas Removals Insurance

Alongside our international removals service, we offer full removals and storage insurance and specialist Marine Transit Insurance specially designed to provide extensive cover for your belongings or equipment against the risks connected with international shipping and air freight.

We offer a range of international insurance options to exactly match your requirements. Our rates are competitive and our cover is extensive so you can have peace of mind that your belongings are fully protected at all times during your move abroad.

If you do need to make a claim you can go straight to the insurer so that you know it will be dealt with quickly and independently, and you’ll have the legal option to go to the Financial Ombudsman if a dispute does arise.

Waiting Time and Cancellation & Postponement Waivers

To further safeguard your experience we offer two optional waivers in case of delays or cancellations. Our Waiting Time Waiver provides coverage against potential added charges if access to your destination property is delayed on your removal day due to third party issues.

Additionally, our Cancellation and Postponement Waiver protects you if your move is unexpectedly cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen delays in the conveyancing process, giving you the flexibility and financial reassurance needed during uncertain times. With these options, you can move with confidence, knowing you’re covered every step of the way.
