Remote Relocation: Scoraig, Wester Ross

Remote Relocation: Scoraig, Wester Ross

This week our Inverness branch, in the Scottish Highlands conducted one of Clockwork’s most unique moves to date!

Our client was moving to the isolated village of Scoraig, a rural off grid community on the north shore of Little Loch Broom, Wester Ross. Known as the most remote village in mainland Scotland, this scattered little off-grid community of around 70 inhabitants have no roads and very few vehicles. The only accessible route for transport is by boat.

Our crew were booked to move the client from Dingwall to Badluarach Jetty where they were met by two small open boats for transportation across the loch.  As there are no roads in the village, the goods were unloaded onto quad bikes for the final leg of the journey and safe delivery to their new home.

We serve a diverse range of locations throughout the Highlands from city moves in Inverness and Aberdeen to extremely rural locations such as this. Many of our clients come to us to help overcome the challenges that they have to undertake in order to become a part of small Highland communities.

No matter how remote or operationally challenging you think your move is… our team will get you and your belongings relocated safely. Call us today for more information.
