Number of Crew:

We have 12 team members in the Sheffield Branch. There is the Branch Manager, Paul, as well as Spike who is in charge of Operations. We also have our Sales Surveyor, Rob, and our Branch Administrator, Kelly. We then have eight drivers and porters who carry out all of our moves.

Where do you Most Commonly Ship to?

We do most of our overseas moves to Australia. A lot of families and young couples move there to start new lives down under.

What is your Most Interesting Move?

Our most interesting move was when we were required to transport a 7 ft promotional Zebra for the firm Investec. You can see just how big the Zebra was from the picture we have included.

What has been your Most Interesting Item to Store?

We once stored the Arctic Monkey’s drum kit. The drum belonged to their drummer Matt Helder. We obviously had to take great care when managing this item as it holds a lot value.

What has been your Most Challenging Move?

We carried out a domestic move that cost over £22,000. The basement located in the property contained more than 25,000 law books that we had to move and ensure they were all alphabetised in their new home. This took a great deal of time but we enjoy taking on more tricky moves as it challenges us and it’s a great experience.

Tell me a Local Fact about the Area

Sheffield FC is actually the oldest football club in the world as it dates back to 1857.

What is the Best Thing about Working for Clockwork Removals?

“Working with a diverse range of clients as well as the unique properties we carry out moves for,” – Paul Handley, Sheffield Branch Manager.
