Milngavie in particular is excellent as it has plenty of leisure facilities, parks and the West Highland Way. You can access beautiful walking trails and stunning countryside making it appealing for those who want some serenity in their lives. In addition, Bearsden has the best non-private schools such as Bearsden Academy and Boclair Academy which are both well known for producing excellent results and having low rates of bullying. However, the value of properties tend to be higher here in comparison to the rest of Glasgow with an average house price of £350,000.
