What do I need to do if I need a quotation?
Whichever move you are planning, be it a small local residential move, a complete office relocation or a move to the other side of the world, you can contact your local Clockwork branch by email or phone, or use our contact tools on the website for an online estimate. You can request a call back at a convenient time for you and our staff can then arrange a suitable time to visit your property to give you a full free of charge with no obligation survey. How does Clockwork calculate the removal fee?
Every move is unique and as such, we treat each quotation for office removals, international removals and home removals individually and base the price on the specific requirements for that customer. This is dependent upon what size of vehicle you need, what size of team you need to carry out the move, where you are moving to and if you have any specific requirements.

What is included in the quotation?
Each quotation is different as we tailor make each one to suit your unique requirements. We provide you with a complete service that incorporates all elements such as:

• All Packaging Materials such as boxes, tape, tissue, wardrobe boxes, bubblewrap, mattress covers and sofa covers.
• Full Packing Service – We will come into the property, usually the day before and get everything packed up ready for the removal the next day
• Full Removal Service: (we dismantle all items, such as beds, wardrobes..etc. and take items off wall/ceilings such as bookshelves and chandeliers.
• Full unpacking service – This is usually done the day after the move where by we would unpack all the items and take all the rubbish away with us.

Do I have to pay VAT?
In the United Kingdom it is a legal requirement to charge Value Added Tax.

When I am ready to book, how much notice do I need to give?
As soon as you have a confirmed moving date then please book your removal in with us. You will usually have around 2 weeks. For International and European Removals we will need much longer. The earlier you can book the better as we might sometimes get booked up well in advance. Having said this, at Clockwork, we specialize with short notice and will do all we can to accommodate you.

When do I need to pay?
For our residential moves. we require you to pay for the full removal at least 7 days before the move. We accept BACS, cheques, debit and credit cards. For commercial clients, please speak to your local branch for details of payment terms.

Will I have a dedicated contact at my Clockwork branch?
There’s nothing more frustrating than speaking to two or three different people and wires getting crossed. For every Clockwork move you will be assigned your own Move Manager from your local branch, who will oversee your move from the quote right through to the completion of your move.
