Air Freight
When time is of the essence Clockwork Removals can arrange for urgent air freight delivery anywhere in the world.
Shipping items by air freight can be cheaper than shipping items over the sea if you have smaller items to move (Items under 500lbs are cheaper to ship via air than by ocean).
Air shipments are usually handled by one of the following methods:
Passenger airlines
Freight is stored in special containers designed to fit in the cargo hold of commercial airlines.
Cargo planes
These planes are capable of handling larger quantities of freight than passenger planes and are designed so cargo can be moved into the hold.
Super cargo planes
Super cargo planes, also known as Airbuses, can carry extremely large items of freight with the entire end of the plane opening up to allow loading.
